Together with chef Emile van der Staak from restaurant De Nieuwe Winkel, Van der Kallen came up with Het Gouden Ei (The Golden Egg). An iconical piece of craftsmanship, inspired by the restaurant’s eponymous appetizer. The overlapping philosophies both Van der Staak and Van der Kallen carry out, come forward in this fusion of disciplines. Both the dish and the gold plated, wooden egg show only few – and only the purest – ingredients are needed to conjure fantastical products.

With 23 carats gold plated inside
